 Hello, friends! 
This blog is final material for 12 grade. 
Sometimes i listen or sing a song, when i tired, clean the house, and when i study. 
Do you like listen the song? 





DEFINITION

A musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. 


SOCIAL FUNCTION

To entertain the listeners. 

• To give motivation. 

• To express personal feelings. 


LANGUAGE FEATURE

a. imagery. Imagery describes about feelings and emotions. A song usually tries to describe how the writer feels.


b. Rhythm. The rhythm here is used to create the mood. For example, if we are sad and listen to a song with a slow rhythm, we will get carried away with the song. So, rhythm creates mood!


c. Figures of speech :


1. Metaphor, comparing two things that are not alike to suggest that they actually have something in common. At first glance, the two things being compared are unrelated, but in fact there are similarities between the two things. e.g. “Time is a thief” or “Her hair was silk”.


2. Simile, compares two things using "like" or "as''. A thing is described with something similar by using the word 'like' or 'as' e.g. “My love is like a redrose”.


3. Hyperbole, a dramatic language. Big exaggeration, usually with humor. A thing is described in excess, sometimes tickling because it is too much. e.g. “That math homework took me 8 million years to finish”.


4. Personification, an object appear like a person. Objects (non-humans) have human-like abilities. e.g. “The wind whisper” or “The snowflakes danced in the wind”.


5. Allititration, the repetition of the same beginning sound in a series of words. The repetition of the sound at the beginning of each word. e.g. “Peter Parker pick a pack of pants punctually”

Namun, masyarakat tak begitu memperdulikan kesehatan mental. Dan mengganggap gangguan mental bukanlah hal yang serius.

EXPOSITION TEXT + QUESTIONS WITH ANSWERS


Hello guys, welcome back to my blog. In this blog, i will share with you about exposition text. Please read carefully to make you understand. 


DEFINITION 

 Exposition text is a paragraph or essay containing a number of information and knowledge which is presented briefly, concisely, and accurately. Another opinion states that the Exposition Text is a type or variety of text that has the function of conveying ideas in the form of thoughts on a topic. This exposition paragraph is scientific or can be said to be non-fiction.


These kinds of Exposition texts are often used in the context of daily oral and written communication. For example, when you have a discussion in a seminar forum, someone who presents an argument in an opinion debate and so on.


To clarify the description, it can be supplemented with graphics, pictures or statistics. For the record, it is not uncommon for expositions to be found only containing descriptions of the work steps / methods / processes. The exposition is so commonly called exposure process. Exposition text is like any other text, which has structure.


PURPOSE OF EXPOSITION

Is to explain certain information in order to increase the reader's knowledge, so that by reading the exposition text, the reader will get detailed knowledge of a thing or event.


FEATURES OF EXPOSITION TEXT

The characteristics of the exposition text include:


-Short and Solid

-Inviting style of information.

-The delivery of the text is straightforward and uses standard language.

-Explain knowledge information.

-Not taking sides means not imposing the will of the author on his readers.

-The exposition text is objective and neutral.

-The explanation is accompanied by accurate data.

-Facts are used as a means of concrete and contribution.

-Generally answer the question of what, who, when, where, why, how.


EXPOSITION TEXT STRUCTURE


TITLE

The title should describe something discussed in the Exposition text. The title should be written in short, interesting words and full of meaning.


THESIS

This section serves to introduce the topic as well as place the reader in a certain position. Because the text used by the writer wants to express an opinion, the reader can be in a position that agrees or in a position that is opposite to him.


ARGUMENTATION

Part of the Exposition text is an argument or reason. The length and shortness of this section will depend on the number of arguments you have outlined in your general statement, then you have renamed and defined those arguments in paragraphs. The development of this argument into paragraphs is done by presenting examples and reasons.


REFIRMATION OF OPINION

The repetition is carried out based on the arguments presented in the previous section. Repetition of opinion is optional, so not all Exposition texts have it.


TYPES OF EXPOSITION TEXT

The types of exposition text include:


-Defini exposition is an exposition paragraph that describes the definition of a particular topic.

-Process exposition, namely the steps or ways of doing something from start to finish.

-Illustration exposition, namely text that describes certain information or explanations in a way that provides a simple description of a topic with other topics that have similar characteristics or similarities in certain matters.

-Report exposition is a paragraph of exposition which presents a report from a particular news or research.

-Comparative exposition is an exposition where the main idea is presented by comparing with others.

-Contradictory exposition, that is, this exposition contains contradiction between one thing and another.


ELEMENTS OF EXPOSITION TEXT WRITING PROCEDURES


DETERMINING THE TOPIC TO BE PRESENTED

The first step to take when creating an exposition text is to determine the theme. By determining a theme, at the time of writing we are more focused on that theme so that we can more animate the writing that is made. The nature of the topics developed in the exposition text is as follows.


DETERMINING EXPOSITION OBJECTIVES

After determining the topic to be presented, we must have goals that will later provide explanation and understanding to readers.


CHOOSING THEME-ACCORDING DATA

After determining the theme and purpose of writing, the next step that must be done is to collect the data or materials needed in writing the exposition text. Materials can be obtained from books, magazines, internet searches, newspapers and in-person interviews.


MAKE THE FRAMEWORK

Before making an exposition essay, first make a complete and systematic outline.


DISCUSSION WITH DEVELOPING A FRAMEWORK

After the outline of the essay is composed, develop it more fully so that the characteristics of the exposition can be conveyed, the exposition is informative, objective, and logical. In this essay, the author further explains the purpose of his topic by including concrete evidence to support the discussion.


MAKE A CONCLUSION

In accordance with the purpose of writing an exposition, the conclusions must be in line, and even have to strengthen the thesis.



LINGUISTIC ELEMENTS OF THE EXPOSITION TEXT 


PRONOUNS

A pronoun or pronoun is a type of word that replaces a noun or noun phrase. Pronouns can be classified into two types, namely personal pronouns and non-personal pronouns.


The pronoun Persona (pronoun person) is Persona Tunggal. Examples like him, her, you, you, me, brother, her,-you,-me, si-., And the plural persona. Examples are like us, us, you, them, audience, para.


Nonpersona pronouns (non-person pronouns) are Indicator pronouns such as this, that, here, there, there. and the questioner's pronouns, such as what, where, who.


NOUN 


Is a word that refers to objects, both real and abstract. In the sentence has the status as the subject. Judging from the form and meaning, there are basic nouns and derivative nouns. Basic nouns for example picture, table, house, knife. Derivative nouns include deeds, purchases, power, etc.


VERB 


Is a word that contains the basic meaning of an action, process, or condition that is not characteristic. In sentences it usually functions as a predicate.


CONJUNCTION

Conjunction (conjunction). The example is in fact, then, further. To strengthen an argument, conjunctions or conjunctions can be used. In the context of submitting opinions on ASEAN language policies, the authors relate arguments with conjunctions in fact, then, and further. Ideally, arguments are not presented randomly. Such conjunctions can be used to organize arguments in an order from the strongest to the weakest or vice versa.

Transportation is defined by experts as a need derived from various economic and social activities (see for example Morlock, 1985). Different types of socio-economic activities will have different impacts on transportation activities.


Relatively daily transportation activities cause repetitive movements, for example, those that occur in workers and those who are educated at school. In Yogyakarta, our beloved city traffic jams occur every day at points that become routes for workers and students to move from their homes to work and school locations.


Recurring congestion in the longer term tends to occur during the holiday season and Eid. During the arrival and departure stages, severe congestion will occur on roads outside the city (for example, Jalan Magelang, Jalan Solo, Jalan Palagan, and Jalan Wates). In the range between these periods, congestion can be felt in the city center as a place to stay and tourist destinations (such as Malioboro, Prawirotaman), as well as roads to tourist objects, such as Jalan Parangtritis.



The dominant daily congestion is caused by community activities in the internal sphere. Congestion that recurs every day is an excess of the pattern of living, working and attending school. Efforts to get closer to the location of the residence and the location of activities are one solution that can be done. This can take the form of providing housing incentives in the form of rented or owned flats that are comfortable enough for activities. So far, it seems that there has been no effort to regulate a systematic pattern of activities.

Definition


Narrative Text is a type of text that tells a fictional / fictional story with the aim of entertaining in a chronologically interrelated manner.


As an imaginary story, the Narrative Text is not necessarily true, because it is only based on evidence from a group of people who are not true.


Narrative text is an imaginative story to entertain people (narrative text is an imaginative story with the aim of entertaining people).


To make a Narrative Text, it is endeavored to contain the general structure of the Narrative Text itself, such as:


Orientation: This section contains an opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced. (Contains the place, character, and time to read the story, who and when)


Complications: The problem parts of the story begin to develop. (Problems start to arise or begin to occur and begin to develop)


Resolution: The problem part of the story begins. The problem is resolved, either in a happy "happy ending" or a "bad ending" or bad.


Coda / reorientation (optional): A section explaining lessons learned from the story.


Language Feature


Past tense: (Killed, drunk, went, won, sent, etc) (killed, drunk, left, won, sent, etc.).


Adverb of time: (Once upon a time, today, one day, will, yesterday, later, etc) (At any time, today, one day, will, yesterday, later, etc.).

Characteristic features 


The following are the characteristics of Narrative Text, including:


Narrative Text tells a story from the past.

a complex sequence.


Sequence is a series of statements in which the execution is sequential / coherent. What is found first will be done first and if the order of the statements is reversed it will have a different meaning


Types


The following are several types of Narrative Text, including:


Fable: A story that tells about an animal.


Myth: This story or myth has developed a lot in society and is generally considered to be a factual story or actually happened.


Legend: A folk tale that tells how the origin of a place exists.


Folk tale: A story that is told from generation to generation so that it becomes a part of community traditions.


Fairy tales: Folk stories or children's stories which contain elements of the magic / impossibility of the characters in the story and at the end contain moral messages.


Love story: Love story is more affirming


the theme of the story is the struggle to get love for the main character.


Apart from that, there are also other types such as: Science fiction, Horror, Mystery, History, Slice of life, Personal experience, etc.

The Ant and the Dove 




On a hot day of summer, an ant was searching for some water. After walking around for some time, she came near the river. To drink the water, she climbed up on a small rock. While trying to drink a water, she slipped and fell into the river.


There was a dove sitting on a branch of a tree who saw an ant falling into the river. The dove quickly plucked a leaf and dropped it into the river near the struggling ant. The ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up onto it. Soon, the leaf drifted to dry ground, and the ant jumped out. She looked up to the tree and thanked the dove.


Later, the same day, a bird catcher nearby was about to throw his net over the dove hoping to trap it. An ant saw him and guessed what he was about to do. The dove was resting and he had no idea about the bird catcher. An ant quickly bit him on the foot. Feeling the pain, the bird catcher dropped his net and let out a light scream. The dove noticed it and quickly flew away.

Definition 


Understanding Biography According to Experts

According to experts, the notion of biography has several perspectives and meanings. Here's their opinion.


1. Nugraha and Riyadi

The definition of a biographical text according to Nugraha (2013) and Riyadi (2014) is to contain the story of a person's life history, then the story is written into writing.

2. Wahono

This is different from Wahono's opinion, who defines a biographical text as a factual story. Where the story is written based on the facts presented by the author.
So what are the forms of these facts? For example, in the form of the person's privileges, good performance, ideology, and other achievements.

3. Istiqomah

According to Istiqomah (2015), a biographical text is a life history of a person who is told through writing. Istiqomah also mentions that the author of this type of text is in the third person. The writer is the one who owns the copyright for the written character's work. Meanwhile, the character was written as a resource.

4. Mahsun

Meanwhile, according to Mahsun, a biographical text is a narrative text which has the ultimate goal of telling the life stages of a person that contains facts, the life history of the character. As for what needs to be conveyed in writing biographical texts, for example, issues of privileges, family background, identity, organizational history, and things that are achievements that have been achieved.

Characteristic 

The characteristics of biographical texts are of several kinds. Here are the various characteristics.

1. Loading Facts

The characteristics of a biographical text contain facts. Indeed, the form of facts is not only about statistical data. But the facts of the character's experience are written down. In other words, writing a biography is not written because of fiction, but because it talks about data


2. Having Conflict Problems

Another characteristic is that the biographical text contains conflict problems. Biographical texts contain real trips, which contain problems, conflicts, or obstacles. From this problem, the story of this biographical journey is interesting to follow. It is also starting from this problem, readers can also learn from experience, wisdom, and solutions. Who knows, these solutions may be of benefit to readers out there.


3. The existence of learning messages

A good biographical text should have a constructive learning message for the reader. The reason why the characters' stories are written in this text is none other than to provide learning on experiences and every decision that has been passed.


4. Have a Clear Structure or Time Frame

Another important characteristic is having a clear structure. So for those of you who want to write a biography, make sure the structure is well conceptualized. When writing a biographical text, the writer must be observant in recording the series of years and processes. A coherent structure certainly makes it easy for readers to understand the message conveyed.


5. History of Someone's Life Experience

Another characteristic can be marked by the way of narrating it. The narrative emphasizes the historical experience of the character. That's why the average person who is written in a biography is a great person, people who have had life experiences that have changed people's viewpoints.

6. Have Place Settings

Even though it tells the real-life experience of someone. It is also important to indicate the place setting. The setting of this place can be in different places, depending on the story of the character or source. Because after all, setting the place is one of the mandatory features.


Structure 


1. Orientation

The orientation series contains an intro or introduction to the character being raised. The introduction should be written in general. For example, the focus is on discussing the character's family background, name of the character, educational history, and place of residence. Of course, from the data obtained, it is written in a narrative.

2. Events and Problems

Events and problems contain the sequence of events experienced by the characters raised. Also write down experiences that have been experienced, accompanied by problems or conflicts. Apart from writing down experiences, problems, or conflicts, it is very important to write down the solutions faced by the characters.

3. Reorientation

Reorientation refers more to the writer's response to the character raised. Of course, the author's response is about the characters he writes about.

Linguistic Elements 

1. Conjunctions

When viewed from the linguistic elements and linguistic rules of the biographical text, conjunctions are an element that needs to be mastered. Conjunction plays a role in connecting one word to another so that it is formed into a sentence.

2. Word reference

Have you ever heard a word reference? Word references are used to refer to words that have previously been done. There are also various word reference models used, there are nouns and place references. In fact, there are also people referencing words. Examples of noun references, often use words like this, that, and that. while for the word referencing place, more often use the word here, there, there, and many others. while the word reference shows people can use their words, he, he, he and many more.

3. Events Time and Place

The linguistic elements in biographical texts that are no less important are the events of time and place. The function of the importance of time and place events is nothing but to refer to an event or incident, time and place that the character has already experienced.

Where these events and places become memorable moments for most people. that's why there are more biographies about great figures. The results of sales in the market are in demand. Meanwhile, for people who do not have a big influence, books are less attractive to the market, because consumers do not know who the character is written.

4. Verbs

In the linguistic element of biographical texts, verbs are also called verbs. Verbs can also be interpreted as groups of words that tell a character's journey and story. Well, it turns out that the elements of the verb itself are divided by form and based on type.

WILHELM CONRAD RÖNTGEN 

Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen (27 March 1845 – 10 February 1923) was a German physicist who was the first recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics, in 1901, for his discoveries in X-rays, which marked the beginning of the age of modern physics and revolutionized diagnostic medicine.

Rontgen studied at ETH Zurich and later became professor of physics at the Universities of Strasbourg (1876-79), Giessen (1879-88), Wurzburg (1888-1900), and Munich (1900-20). His research also includes work on elasticity, the motion of hair tubes in liquids, the heat of certain gases, the conduction of heat in crystals, the absorption of heat by gases, and piezoelectricity.



In 1895, while experimenting with the flow of electric current and a partially emptied glass tube (cathode ray tube), Rontgen observed that adjacent pieces of barium platinocyanide emit light when the tube is operated. He formulated the theory that when cathode rays (electrons) penetrate the glass walls of the tube, some unknown radiation is generated which crosses the chamber, penetrates the chemicals, and causes fluorescence. Further observations revealed that paper, wood, and aluminum, among other materials, were transparent to this new form of radiation. He discovered that it affected the photographic plate, and, because it did not manifestly exhibit some properties of light, such as reflection or refraction, he mistakenly thought that the rays had no contact with light. Given this uncertain nature, he called the phenomenon X-radiation, although it is also known as X-ray radiation. He took the first X-ray photography of the interior of the metal object and the bones of his wife's hand.

Freddie Mercury




Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara in Stone Town in the British protectorate of Zanzibar (now part of Tanzania) on 5 September 1946. His parents, Bomi (1908–2003) and Jer Bulsara (1922–2016) were from the Parsi community of western India. The Bulsaras had origins in the city of Bulsar (now Valsad) in Gujarat. He had a younger sister, Kashmira.

The family had moved to Zanzibar so that Bomi could continue his job as a cashier at the British Colonial Office.  As Zanzibar was a British protectorate until 1963, Mercury was born a British subject, and on 2 June 1969 was registered as a citizen of the United Kingdom and colonies after the family had emigrated to England.


In the spring of 1964, Mercury and his family fled to England from Zanzibar to escape the violence of the revolution against the Sultan of Zanzibar and his mainly Arab government, in which thousands of ethnic Arabs and Indians were killed. They moved to 19 Hamilton Close, Feltham, Middlesex, a town 13 miles (21 km) west of central London. The Bulsaras briefly relocated to 122 Hamilton Road, before settling into a small house at 22 Gladstone Avenue in late October. After first studying art at Isleworth Polytechnic in West London, Mercury studied graphic art and design at Ealing Art College, graduating with a diploma in 1969.

Mercury spent most of his childhood in India where he began taking piano lessons at the age of seven while living with relatives. In 1954, at the age of eight, Mercury was sent to study at St. Peter's School, a British-style boarding school for boys, in Panchgani near Bombay. At the age of 12, he formed a school band, the Hectics, and covered rock and roll artists such as Cliff Richard and Little Richard. One of Mercury's former bandmates from the Hectics has said "the only music he listened to and played, was Western pop music". It was also at St. Peter's where he began to call himself "Freddie". In February 1963 he moved back to Zanzibar where he joined his parents at their flat.

In 1969, he joined Liverpool-based band Ibex, later renamed Wreckage, which played "very Hendrix-style, heavy blues". He briefly lived in a flat above the Dovedale Towers, a pub close to Penny Lane in Liverpool's Mossley Hill district. When this band failed to take off, he joined an Oxford-based band, Sour Milk Sea, but by early 1970 this group had broken up as well.

In April 1970, Mercury teamed up with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, to become the lead singer of their band Smile. They were joined by bassist John Deacon in 1971. Despite the reservations of the other members and Trident Studios, the band's initial management, Mercury chose the name "Queen" for the new band. At about the same time, he legally changed his surname, Bulsara, to Mercury.

On the evening of 24 November 1991, about 24 hours after issuing the statement, Mercury died at the age of 45 at his home in Kensington. The cause of death was bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS. Mercury's close friend Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five was at the bedside vigil when he died. Austin phoned Mercury's parents and sister to break the news, which reached newspaper and television crews in the early hours of 25 November.





Biography of the inventor 

Hedy Lamarr




Lamarr was born in 1914 as Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler in Vienna, Austria-Hungary, the only child of Gertrud "Trude" Kiesler (girl name Lichtwitz; 1894–1977) and Emil Kiesler (1880–1935). His father was born in Lemberg, Austrian Empire (now known as Lviv, Ukraine). He is a successful bank manager. Meanwhile, Lamarr's mother, Trude, is a pianist. Trude was born in Budapest and comes from an upper-class family of Hungarian origin.

Since childhood, Lamarr has shown an interest in the world of acting and is deeply fascinated by theater and film. When she was 12 years old, she won a beauty pageant in Vienna.

Lamarr helped his mother get out of Austria for the United States after the annexation of Austria by Nazi Germany. His mother was later granted United States citizenship.

The avant garde composer George Antheil, son of German immigrants and Lamarr's neighbour, has experimented with automatic control of musical instruments, including his music for Ballet Mécanique, originally written for Fernand Léger's 1924 abstract film. His automatic music consists of several pianolas being played simultaneously. .

Lamarr introduced the idea to Antheil and jointly submitted the idea for the secret communication system in June 1941. On August 11, 1942, US Patent 2,292,387 was granted to Antheil and "Hedy Kiesler Markey," Lamarr's marriage name at the time. An early version of this frequency shift was the use of piano rollers to switch between 88 frequencies and aimed to make radio-guided torpedoes difficult to detect by enemies. Although they presented the technique before the U.S. Navy, the idea was rejected and not adopted.

This idea was only implemented in the United States in 1962 by U.S. military ships. while blocking Cuba after its patent expired. Due to possible delays in development, this patent was only made public in 1997 when the Electronic Frontier Foundation awarded Lamarr for his contributions. It was reported that in 1998, Ottawa-based wireless technology developer Wi-LAN, Inc. "bought 49 percent of this patent claim from Lamarr for an undisclosed share value" (Eliza Schmidkunz, Inside GNSS), when an expired patent should be considered worthless. Antheil died in 1959.

Lamarr and Antheil's idea of ​​switching frequencies became the basis of today's spread spectrum communication technologies, such as Bluetooth, COFDM used by Wi-Fi network connections, and CDMA in wireless telephony. Blackwell, Martin, and Vernam's 1920 patent Secrecy Communication System (1598673) appears to be the communications basis for the Kiesler and Antheil patents, which utilized this technique to control torpedoes.

Lamarr wanted to join the National Inventors Council, but NIC member Charles F. Kettering and his associates requested that he help only the war effort by using his celebrity status to sell War Bonds.

Do you know what is Descriptive Tex? What the structure, linguistic and the types? 

So, on this page, i will explain about "Descriptive Text". 

Read carefully. 



DEFINITION OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

Before we discuss about historical buildings, we must know what is descriptive text. 

Descriptive text is the text that describe objects clearly and in detail.

In the descriptive text has two types, there are Historical Buildings and Recreation Places. 

But, the social function descriptive text of them is same. There are : 

* To identify/ acknowladge. 

* To Promote. 

* To compliment/ be proud of. 


THE STRUCTURE OF DESCRIPTION TEXT




1. Identification


Located in the first paragraph, aims to identify an object that you want to describe. Identification serves to introduce the reader to the object to be described.


2. Description


Located in the second paragraph and so on, it contains the characteristics attached to something that you have introduced to the reader in the first paragraph. And to describe the object to be discussed.


In the Description parts, has two describe the object, there are : 

The characteristic mean to describe the place in more detailed information. 

and the activity part mean describe activity that can be done at the place. 


LINGUISTIC ELEMENTS 



- Present Tense, 

- Passive voice, 

- Adverb 

- Adjective 

- Figurative language. 




Example : 

Komodo Island 



    Komodo island is located between Sumbawa
and Flores, along western Nusa Tenggara 
Timur, and is popular for the presence of 
giant Monitor Lizards known as Komodo 
Dragons. 
The island is arid, rugged and 
barren and forms a part of the Komodo National Park and Marine Reserve. 
Aerial views prove that it is inarguably, among the most beautiful places in 
Indonesia.

    The best time to visit the park is during the dry season, which runs from 
April to December.

 Besides spotting endangered Komodo dragons, a range of activities can be 
enjoyed at the Komodo National Park such as go for kayaking, diving, 
trekking or the guided island tours.
Around Komodo Island can be relatively easy, but to get to Komodo, you 
first need to travel to Bali and then to Labuan Bajo by either plane or boat, 
and finally to Komodo Island by boat. A couple of local airlines fly from 
Bali to Labuan Bajo on Flores Island.

Historical Buildings 


In this part, we talk about one of the type descriptive text, Historical Buildings.

These historical descriptions usually include when and where the place was founded, or by whom and why. 


BOROBUDUR TEMPLE



 Borobudur Temple is a Buddhist temple and the largest monument in the world located in Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. This stupa-shaped temple was founded by Mahayana Buddhists around the year 800 AD.

  This monument consists of six square terraces on which there are three circular courtyards, the walls are decorated with 2,672 relief panels and originally there were 504 Buddha statues. Borobudur has the most complete and largest collection of Buddhist reliefs in the world. The largest main stupa is located in the center and at the same time crowning this building, surrounded by three circular rows of 72 perforated stupas in which there is a statue of the Buddha sitting cross-legged in a perfect lotus position with the Dharmachakra mudra (turning the wheel of dharma).

  This monument is a model of the universe and was built as a holy place to glorify Buddha as well as function as a place of pilgrimage to guide mankind from the realm of worldly desires to enlightenment and wisdom according to Buddha's teachings. The pilgrims enter through the east side and begin the ritual at the base of the temple by walking around this sacred building in a clockwise direction, while continuing to ascend the next steps through the three levels of realms in Buddhist cosmology. The three levels are Kāmadhātu (the realm of lust), Rupadhatu (the realm of the tangible), and Arupadhatu (the realm of the intangible). On the way the pilgrims walk through a series of passages and stairs to see no less than 1,460 beautiful relief panels engraved on the walls and balustrades.

  Borobudur is still used as a place of religious pilgrimage; Every year Buddhists who come from all over Indonesia and abroad gather at Borobudur to commemorate the Vesak Trisuci. In the world of tourism, Borobudur is the single tourist attraction in Indonesia that is most visited by tourists.

RECREATION PLACES 



ANYER BEACH




Anyer Beach is a very beautiful marine tourism object in Banten. Even because of its beauty, Anyer beach is often equated with Kuta beach, Bali. Located in Anyer, 38 km to the west of Serang City or 160 km to the west of Jakarta, this beach has become a mainstay tourist attraction in Banten.

The view of white sand that stretches along the beach accompanied by clear sea water makes this beach a favorite place to relax. Due to its location facing west, Anyer beach is a romantic place to watch the sunset.

Another attraction of Anyer Beach is the splendor of the lighthouse which is located on the edge of the highway that connects to various coastal tourist areas. In addition, this beach also provides water sports facilities, such as jetsky, banana speed boating, wind surfing, traditional boating and many others.

On Anyer beach there is also the Karang Bolong tourist area. Karang Bolong is a very large coral with a hole in the middle. This hole is what makes Karang Bolong look so exotic and rare to find in other tourist areas in Indonesia.

On this blog, I'll share with you about "Procedure Text"

In this time, the blog has five parts and includes questions with answers.

PART 1

PROCEDURE TEXT 



What is Procedure Text? 

A Procedure text is a text that steps how to make something or to do. The Procedure text makes it easy and fast. 
The Procedure text has a social function to describe instructions on how something should be done in the right sequence of steps.


The Structure 

The Procedure Text has structure, there are :
- Goal 
This section contains the goal to do something that wants to be taught or given and is the opening statement in the text.

- Material
In this section are the tools and materials that will be used in the process of making or doing something.

- Steps 
In this section are instructions for doing or making something right so that the results are as desired.

Linguistic Elements 

The Linguistic of Procedure text are: 


- Imperative 

Is a sentence command or request to emphasize the will and forbid that it can happen. For example: Don't rub the rice too long.


- Action Verb 
Is a word that describes a person's actions. For example: push, remove, etc.


- Connectives 
The use of conjunctions in procedural texts is the conjunction of time. For example, next, then, after that.


- Adverb 

Example: Slowly, usually.


Example 


HOW TO MAKE PEARL BOBA
ingredients
60-70 grams of tapioca flour
60 ml boiling air
Food coloring (optional)


1. Prepare a heat-resistant container. Add tapioca flour and boiling water. Stir well. Cover the boba dough with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.
If using food coloring, add it at this step.


2. Take the dough at about 1/8 teaspoon. Round shape.


3. Prepare a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper. boba on it. Let it dry for at least 2 hours.


4. Fill a pot with water, bring to a boil. add the dried boba. Boba will be half cooked. Boil again for 15-20 minutes. 

Remove from stove. Drain well.
Boba is ready to be used to make bubble tea or other desserts.
